Lord Cavanaugh Munster is Herman Munster's deceased adoptive uncle and father figure from England and an accomplished road racer. He first appeared in Munster, Go Home!.
Sometime after Herman was created by Dr. Frankenstein, Cavanaugh adopted Herman into his family. Cavanaugh had a very dysfunctional relationship with his wife and children who were incredibly corrupt and selfish, as such he had a more genuine fondness for the kindly Herman and left him everything in his will.
