Mockingbird Lane, a remake of the original 1960s CBS sitcom The Munsters, is in development for NBC.
The cast of Mockingbird Lane has been announced: Charity Wakefield will play Marilyn Munster, Jerry O'Connell will play Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi will play Lily Munster, and Eddie Izzard will play Grandpa (Sam Dracula).
Mockingbird Lane has been cancelled as of now. The filmed pilot will air on the weekend before Halloween on NBC as a Halloween special.
Mockingbird Lane has been reconsidered to become a TV series, it will depend on the critics opinion of the special.
